There is a great and varied selection of lodging options in and around Sayulita. These range in cost and amenities provided from bare-bones hostels to five-star resorts. Below are some suggestions and notes to assist you in your selection. On a personal note, we'd like to mention that we felt very safe walking around Sayulita day and night. Outside of the occasional pushy trinket vendor (no, gracias!), everyone was helpful and friendly. Exchange your Jimmy Chu's for Havaianas and you'll be fine.

If you're looking to unplug and enjoy an authentic Mexican experience close to the wedding site, we recommend renting a house or staying at one of the charming boutique hotels in Sayulita. Some have beach access, pools, televisions, air conditioning and security, but you'll need to check with their respective websites or contacts to confirm they have all you need (e.g., handicapped access, internet access, a butler, 500 thread-count sheets). See sites below.

If you prefer full "American-style" amenities (e.g., room service, daily maid service, organized activities for children, etc.),
the big-name hotels in the neighboring city of Punta Mita are your best bet. These places have amazing pools and private beach access. We had a chance to visit the Four Seasons on our last trip and it is impressive, but secluded (you have to drive in and out of the resort, there's no place to walk to). We're happy to arrange shuttle service to and from the wedding site for those staying outside Sayulita proper.

TripAdvisor and VRBO have numerous reviews on hotels and houses in the area. Additionally, our fabulous wedding planner, Yazmin, is available to assist in your lodging selection.
